Get Involved

Vedanta considers Karma Yoga or selfless service one of the initial effective spiritual practices.  Swami Vivekananda termed it ‘Work-as-Worship’. All our events and day-to-day operations are conducted by the selfless service of our volunteers. We cordially welcome and invite you for your help and cooperation.

Opportunities for services include, but are not limited to:

  • Cooking/kitchen work
  • Location set up and support for annual celebrations and retreats
  • Bookstore and Library support
  • Mass media and communications (website, social media etc.)
  • Video recording, editing, and uploading
  • Photography
  • Gardening
  • Content writing and editing
  • Puja arrangement work
  • Music group/choir
  • Office support
