A great saint of modern times. He exemplified with his own life the union with the Divine through the mystic experience. He did this, not only by following the path of his own tradition, but by following the paths of all major religions of the world.

He lit the fire of Vedanta in the heart of many, and his message was later propagated throughout the globe by his disciples.
